How are KidTags different from other identification card systems?
KidTags are different because we created a uniquely designed card that your child can comfortably wear or carry. If your child is separated from you in a public place, the tag provides a safe resource of information required to reunite you immediately.

Is it dangerous to have identification attached to a child?
Not in the fashion in which it is presented by KidTags, Inc. It is commonly suggested to not place a child´s name or address visibly on the child. KidTags furnish only a photo of the child with the critical phone numbers of your choice (i.e. cell phone, pager, home, work, neighbor, grandma, etc.).

What is the difference between the KidTags and the Parent Cards?
They are used for completely different applications. The KidTags are designed for your child to wear or carry. Parent cards contain the descriptive information necessary to pass on to authorities in the event your child is missing. Only parents, guardians, or caregivers should carry parent cards.

Why don’t you include fingerprints on the Parent Cards?
Parent Cards are designed for immediate response and recovery. It is a very good idea to have your child’s fingerprints (many local authorities sponsor fingerprinting free of charge), but it is not necessary to carry fingerprints with you at all times.

What type of picture should I send?
Any size recent photo that clearly includes your child´s face and shoulders will work. We will scan the picture, trim, crop, or resize, if necessary, and return the original photo to you.

What is your Privacy Policy?
Safety and confidentiality are extremely important to us. Due to the sensitive nature of the information required to produce KidTags identification cards, no information is electronically transferred or stored on a hard drive. We ask that you print our order form from the website and mail it to us with the photo of your child.

Does your company do fundraisers?
We welcome the opportunity to provide a fundraiser for your Parent Teacher Organization, church group, preschool, non-profit organization, or other organizations. Please contact us and we will be glad to detail our programs.
